i will always be thankful to all of the wonderful years I had with Grandad. It didn't matter whether we were going around to Nan and Grandad's after school on a Tuesday afternoon and having a lovely roast dinner together before being beating us at cards, draughts, or another game he had up his sleeve, visiting over the weekend or going on one of our lovely holidays together, you can always guarantee Grandad would be cracking out the jokes or pulling out some random fact or story. 

He was such a lovely, bubbly and friendly man with the kindest heart who was such a pleasure to be around, and the fact that we have such a great wider family is a credit to both him and Nan. I will always remember the numerous this you have taught me, whether it be that devilish table tennis backhander, the dangling of the draughts carrots or the one of many card games, but most importantly, how to be a good person.

Thank you for everything Grandad, love you so much and i will miss you dearly.
